About the role
A small IT services and IT consulting company in Canada is hiring for this role. You will own the build, evaluation and deployment of LLM-powered applications, retrieval-augmented generation systems and agents, and keep improving them once they are live.
What you'll do
- Build and deploy LLM-powered applications, RAG systems and agents
- Integrate agents with APIs, databases and business applications
- Evaluate and measure accuracy, reliability and business outcomes
- Improve performance, costs, monitoring and failure handling
- Work with product and engineering teams to ship and refine solutions
What you bring
- Senior-level experience building LLM applications and AI agents
- Hands-on work with retrieval-augmented generation systems
- Experience integrating AI systems with APIs, databases and business applications
- A habit of measuring results and tuning for cost, reliability and monitoring
- Comfort collaborating with product and engineering teams
