About the role
A large industrial machinery manufacturing company in Montreal is hiring for this role. You will provide technical support to operations and own the development, validation and continuous improvement of manufacturing and component repair processes. The goal is to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery and lead-time requirements.
What you'll do
- Provide technical support to operations teams
- Develop, validate and maintain manufacturing and component repair processes
- Drive continuous improvement against safety, quality, cost, delivery and lead-time targets
- Plan work and manage risks
- Analyze process data and share best practices across teams
What you bring
- Experience as a manufacturing engineer in a process-driven environment, at a senior level
- Working knowledge of component repair or manufacturing process development and validation
- Commitment to health, safety, product safety, quality and technical standards
- Ability to analyze process data and act on what it shows
