About the role
A mid-sized appliances, electrical and electronics manufacturing company in Franklin is hiring for this role. You will own the day-to-day accounting entries and reconciliations that keep the books accurate, and support the month-end and year-end close. The role also feeds budgeting, forecasting, audit and tax work.
What you'll do
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Prepare financial statements and support month-end and year-end close
- Support budgeting and forecasting
- Provide audit and tax documentation, review expenses and handle related-entity accounting
What you bring
- Hands-on general accounting experience, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Comfort preparing financial statements and supporting a close cycle
- Familiarity with audit and tax documentation requests
- Attention to detail when reviewing expenses and answering inquiries
- Willingness to pick up special projects as they come up
